If you would like any vinyl sticker to last, clean the surface before adhering the sticker. Rubbing alcohol works great, let the surface dry completely. Once the sticker is on, rub it a few times to cause friction which will help the adhesive to adhere to the item more like glue. 

Dishwasher safe on top rack. Will last longer hand washed.
